Assignments

During this course you will complete four primary assignments, two of which have presentation components.

  1. Attentive Repetition: twice weekly practice, from Day 2 to Day 23
  2. Log: weekly entries from Day 2 to Day 23
  3. Peer Responses (x3): Due during Units 3, 4, and 5 respectively
  4. (Multi)media Essay: Due at the end of semester

*You are asked to post on your Log once weekly during the semester (Weeks 2 – 12). Posting each week, will mean you posted 11 times by Day 24. You default mark for this assignment will be 5/5%. If less than 10 post have been made your grade will be reduced by 1% per missing post.

**In-class time will be used to convene with other course participants and think together through the concepts that underlie your personal, out of class, attentive repetition work. It will benefit everyone to have as much diversity of experience as possible in the classroom. Sometimes alarms don’t go off or buses don’t run and that is okay. Your default mark for attendance will be 5/5. Should you miss class more than twice that grade will decrease by 0.5 for each subsequent absence. If mandatory attendance may be a barrier to participation for you, please contact the instructor so we can discuss alternatives.
